We, Susan and Jeff Turner, welcome you to our practice at Living Ayurveda (Living Ayurveda Services, Inc). As Ayurvedic Practitioners, we offer consultations, treatments and education consistent with the classical teaching of Ayurveda to assist you in your own plan for self-healing. Ayurveda recognizes that we each have a unique constitution and offers a methodology to identify this unique nature and the means to maintain the proper balance of the body, mind and consciousness through diet, nutrition, treatments and proper lifestyle.

Although only recently introduced to the United States, Ayurveda has been practiced in India for more than 5000 years. Ayurveda is complementary to the healing arts that are licensed by the State of California. Ayurveda is not presently licensed by the state, and the legal practice of Ayurveda is provided under Sections 2053.5 and 2053.6 of the California Business and Professions Code.

Neither Susan nor Jeff Turner is a licensed physician. Susan Turner is a licensed Registered Nurse, and, the services she provides at Living Ayurveda are not within the context of her nursing licensure nor the license’s associated standards of care.

Susan and Jeff Turner have been practicing Ayurveda for eight years. We both completed a four year program with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute and concurrently trained with Dr. Sunil Joshi. We both have received training from Dr. Datis Kharrazian in functional blood chemistry, advanced endocrinology and immunology. We have both received training in Applied Kinesiology. Susan has studied herbology with Tierona Lowdog, M.D. Jeff has studied Jyotisha with Hart deFouw.
